Hey dude, I am in you boat. Does it have DVI? Does that card have VIVO compatibilities? Check to see if your ATI card is on windows hardware compatibility list. I would uninstall the drivers from the “add Remove Software” section in the control panel. If I figure something out I will come back and let you know. Bet you it is.

Im afraid to install directx9 since the card does not support it. So I me-8891 tring to find an archieved nvidia driver to fit it. I would uninstall the drivers from the “add Remove Software” section in the control panel.
I think I might take this video card back. It worked beautiful for about 2 days then it just locked up the system. I bought this card with a system rebuild a few months ago and haven’t had a problem since. Hey dude, I am in you m-8891. Also last resort could be windows update I have done that without any problems.
Does it have DVI? I have removed it and reinstalled it, I have tried to find updated drivers on the MSI website but the site cant find a match for this card. Where did you buy it? It only supports 8.

I am having trouble finding it and have a couple questions for you if you dont mind. XP has a strange way of replacing drivers on it’s own after rebooting without you being able to stop it.

Try exchanging the card where you purchased it from, sounds like somethings gone bad. It hasnt changed the drivers when I reboot, it just says the device cannot be started. Check to see if your ATI card is on windows hardware compatibility list. Heck, this card isn’t even listed in MSI’s product listing. Check your BIOS settings: If I figure something out I will come back and let you know. I even did a fresh format and reinstall of the os this weekend to enure I had no OS problems.
